The Harry O. Perlee Chapter of Credit Unions was formed in June of 1936. On January 27, 2004 the board voted to change the name to the Rockford Area Chapter of Credit Unions.
The Rockford Area Chapter of Credit Unions serves credit union officials in Boone, Winnebago, Eastern Lee, and Eastern Ogle counties.
The chapter meets monthly from September to April and presents topics such as legislative issues, generational marketing, and robbery/safety training.
